Holly Humberstone - Cruel World

Kinda feeling awkward about giving a bad review and absolutely no hate to girlie but Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Chapel Roan, Taylor Swift and so many more must’ve felt their nachos re-heating. This had no originality at all for me. Not even one song was interesting to me. I was so bored. It was well done but there was nothing to do. Lyrics were killing me by how shallow they were. Vocal performance was nowhere to be seen. There was nothing about this album that I ... read more

It’s a good song for sure but for a new album I am kinda expecting more of a change. She shows the signs of being more indie or experimental, I just need her to fulfil that. You got this girl.

Carla dal Forno - Confession

Feels like letting yourself into the flow of the river and just floating with chill and peaceful vibes.

Conan Gray - Wishbone Deluxe

Did he just put the SAME 5 songs after each other??

Even the sound got so much better, I am pissed that I just listened him sing that he wants him back in every single song with couple words differently… This is by far the album that has the least variety.

Also love Conan but if he were to take lessons from his own songs he wouldn’t have to write the same songs all over again. Drop the DL trades babes, you deserve better.

TOMORA - COME CLOSER

I often times feel hopeless about being creativity and being out of unique ideas to come up with. This was a prove that there is a whole another world to discover in every medium. It was so different and hypnoting. I went into different dimensions listening to this. I always knew Aurora would be insane if she went experimental, amazing duoo

She has one of the most interesting voice in the industry. It is so captivating and her voice definitely shines more in this style more than her recent work ( even though I am a big fan of her recent work). The EP has such a mystery atmosphere that just drags me in. I love her song-writing. I would love for her to re-visit in her upcoming work.

Lontalius - Surrender (2014-2017)

“Sleep thru ur alarms” used to be such a strong member of my sleeping playlist and I wanted more of it. However I did not find the same energy in the rest of the album. The vocals were hard to listen at points. Still a decent ep.

Kevin Atwater - Downer's Grove

Every lyric of this album is stuck with me. Painfully relatable and upsetting for my high school self that thought she was a queer boy and was going through lonely times. Very simple and effective work. He really paints the picture sharp enough to stab you with it. Love and hate this ep.

FKA twigs - CAPRISONGS

She is actually in her own league. She owns the concept of “art” in music. Her music is not just for hearing but for feeling. This work completely blew me off. Regardless of what everyone else thinks (especially my boyfriend) I do believe this definitely has a distinctive sound and cohesiveness to be an album if you scrape some songs. And it would definitely be one of her best albums as well. This is still such a special work. Lowkey she is becoming my favourite artist ever.

Olivia Rodrigo - drop dead

Gurl pisces and gemini do NOT work together!!

Promising sounds for the new album. But this song has not clicked for me yet.

ADÉLA - KGB

After her amazing first EP, this was such a letdown. I am so lost about it. It feels all over the place and the drop does not make sense. I hope it can work in the album but not feeling it so far. She is such a star, so hoping she just decided to release the worst song in the upcoming album.

Edit: okay it did grew in me a bit, but i still expect so much better work from her

Tiffany Day - HALO

The absolute SERVE this is?!?! Such a genre defining album for electro pop and house. Somehow manages to be personal and vulnerable in these clashes of bangers. It has such a easy, enjoyable listen for how hard it goes. It will be on the repeat for a while. You ate diva!!
(Also she sounds exactly like Gracie Abrams at certain points, hello?!)

So many good beats and melodies. She is obviously talented. But I felt like the album was missing from the storytelling department. I got almost nothing except the fact she loves music and has a complicated relationship with some guy (which are both valid).

Ethel Cain - Golden Age

This one is soft and delicate but still very dark part of her. Really adore how intimate this work feels. Felt like she was gently putting her hand on my cheek while I was there with a knife stabbed on me.

Kingfishr - Shadow EP

Empowering take on folk instrumentals. His vocals are encouraging me to go out to a field to run.

I vibe with them. Production could’ve been clearer.

My 100th rating being a 100!! Words can not describe how insane this album is. One of the best albums ever! This changed my conception of music. I have never heard anything going this hard while being so unique and having the catchiest melodies. Gave birth to the concept of music!

Melanie Martinez - HADES

I won’t listen to this album neither support her. But I wanna point out so many users calling her out and giving zero while having other assaulters and problematic men on their favourite artists. Y’all giving this energy when it’s only women is misogynistic af.

Robyn - Sexistential

She outdid herself with this one!!! This was really unique and she was out there to push her limits. The way she sings behind that wild production put me through a lot of different emotions. So cohesive, so authentic, so her. She mothered so hard with this one.

ABBA - Super Trouper

Their melodies feels so warm and familiar. I enjoyed way more than I expected to. It does get repetitive at times but for it’s time it is such a gag.
