Lil Ugly Mane - Oblivion Access

Originally listened 6/23/25, rereview

I dont know how an album can have such high high’s and such low low’s probably the most inconsistent album ive ever heard on a wide range, having songs like slugs and opposite lanes which is some of the best rap i’ve ever heard, and then going to collapse and appear or Leonards lake, overall with how many misses i had i can’t give it a higher score but some of this album is mindblowing

Ken Carson - A Great Chaos

Including the deluxe because i dont want to write 2 reviews, i was very pleasantly surprised with this album.

Although I’m listening to more rage and enjoying it more i expected to hate this as much as X but this album had a lot going for it, fun and great production, not bad at all vocals, destroy lonely did manage to sell every song he was on, but even through the deluxe it stayed pretty consistent other then a group of misses.

Just casually comes in and drops the best rage song I've ever heard, holy shit what an album, although people are calling this bloated i think its almost skipless, each song being interesting and bringing something new and entertaining.

Might be AOTY, Thanks wacky!

Feng - Weekend Rockstar

He might be the most boring rapper ever. Not much to say after hearing this I just really wanted it to end as it dragged and dragged, incredibly soulless music to me.

Danny L Harle - Cerulean

Idk why this pinkpantheress song is getting such high scores my least favorite by far.

It was very mediocre, felt like every song was building up only to then have a disappointing climax, it just didn’t work and could've been so much better.

Brent Faiyaz - Icon

His voice is so soothing man

My first brent album and was not disappointed, with calm songs like butterflies to incredibly upbeat stuff like other side, he brought a little bit of everything which dragged just a little, but created a pleasant listening experience.

Sarah Kinsley - Fleeting

So beautiful man..

An absolutely amazing voice paired so well with elements of synthpop production that work so well together. I haven’t heard about this artist before this but am very excited to check out future works

femtanyl - MAN BITES DOG

Definitely for a certain audience, I am just not that audience

I can see the appeal for femtanyls music for some, but it felt repetitive and each song was really similar to the previous.

Charli xcx - Wuthering Heights

Oh my god I dont even know what to say, im speechless..

I was already super excited for this album hearing the singles, each one feeling unique but amazing in their own way. And now we have the album itself it actually blew my mind, consistent from front to back, learning that its a soundtrack made it make even more sense because although it wasn't cohesive, each song brought their own mood and feel. That intros is straight out of a horror movie man..

Pescado Rabioso - Artaud

Man this was beautiful, with only a couple of misses the overall sound they created had me hooked throughout, with guitars used so well and great vocals, the combo led to some very fun and enjoyable songs.

きのこ帝国 [Kinoko Teikoku] - ロンググッドバイ [Long Goodbye]

And we have come to the end of the discog for me.

And what an ep this is, although its so short, the combo of dream pop and shoegaze creates such a great sound with amazing sounding guitars, with this project having some of my favorite vocals out of all of the projects. What a discog this has been, one of my favorites to do and one of the most consistent ive ever heard.

きのこ帝国 [Kinoko Teikoku] - 猫とアレルギー [Neko to Allergy]

This is like a top album cover ever

Their only album that isnt on spotify, that consisted of me spending 15 minutes to find files, another 15 trying to fix said broken files, a lot of time figuring out musicbee as it wasnt scrobbling properly, and me ending up have to manually queue it song to song in spotify and connect my airpods to my laptop as they wouldnt sync to my phone..

Definitely worth the trouble though! Because oh my god this has some of the best songs from their discography, 35 C ... read more

きのこ帝国 [Kinoko Teikoku] - 愛のゆくえ [Ai no yukue]

Their first album that we started to get multiple misses, although it starts super strong, the album really starts to drag and feel repetitive, luckily its the worst of their discogs and they bounced back from this but definitely the most boring listen.

きのこ帝国 [Kinoko Teikoku] - フェイクワールドワンダーランド [Fake World Wonderland]
88

Oh my god you outside my window is AMAZING, this probably has some of the highest highs out of all the other albums, the new sound they went for here that feels more fun and cozy, and works just as well.

きのこ帝国 [Kinoko Teikoku] - Eureka

Relisten: Original listen, 9/24/25

Although i feel like it has some of kinokoteikokus strongest moments, theres a lot of songs here that just feel bland and empty to me like they're missing something, they are still good but this whole album feels like it needs something more.

Michael Jackson - Thriller
94

Woah! 200 followers and 800 ratings at the same time this is like perfect essential time!

Anyway probably the artist who's had the statement "separate the art from the artist" used most on them, Michael Jackson creates an incredible album that went on to influence so many mainstream popstars in the future. With one of the best 3 song runs ever, thriller creates a beautiful overall sound with elements of pop, funk, disco, that blend so well together and create one of the most ... read more

A very fun sounding shoegaze ep, i want to do more analysis on the lyrics but that first song is one of my favorite gazing songs ever so awesome

Misty Blue - 4/4 Sentimental Painkiller

Another really sad rock project about losing someone

With The Neverminds album sounding quite upbeat and catchy, for a lot of this although it captures the dreamy atmosphere, feels a lot more melancholy and regretful, impacting me in a very different way.
I think overall the first half with that calmer quieter sound was definitely much better for me then the second, the album does pick up in energy as you move through it but something about the sound at the start had me much more impressed

The Neverminds - nevermind, the summer.
93

Nostalgia, wanting to be with someone, letting go, everything this album encapsulates while managing to be so catchy.

Blew my mind right from the beginning, an already incredibly consistent genre always manages to feel unique to me and speechless by the end and I don't think it will ever fail. The addictive guitar riffs layered perfectly with everything else to create a dreamy sound that keeps me coming back to it. Being able to do all this with the meaning of what I've said above ... read more

Luke Chiang - TYPHOON

Ignoring J.cole and Joji because this is the album of the day

Been listening to luke chiang for awhile now, waiting for a full project and it finally came, and oh my god his voice is so angelic, every song flows, it has me peacefully floating the whole time and this album is so well made.
