Big Gulp
Built To Spill. Recently I listened to their notorious 'Perfect From Now On', and it was without a doubt one of the greatest pieces I had ever laid my ears upon. Later the same day after doing some digging I discovered that they had a pretty unknown live album, and as a live album enthusiast I just HAD check this out. I respect it as a piece of art but I wasn’t really moved nor entertained much, I found it to be inconsistent and I think the best songs were the ones where he started harmonizing through different pitches that stuff was great. Unfortunately, he didn’t do that much at all, and I find most of the other vocal performances to be a little grating and underwhelming compared to voices he’s used in the past. I think if I had to rate 5 singles on this site this would easily be one of them. I think mink perfected his sound on every front here, it's such a raw concoction of a song man. Can't get enough of it

I don't see it when people call him washed, I mean some of his vocal performances were sliiiightly underwhelming but as a full cohesive album it works so incredibly well and the consistency is so there. This is amazing and honestly really inventional to me, what a great album.

100 = anything that's given this score is probably a top 5 thing ever for me even outside of music
