Capaldi releases another background pop album, a bit weaker this time, there's like one song (that might be Burning) that I enjoyed at a decent level, the rest just fall into the line between boring pop and songs I don't care about. That's a shame tho, I think his voice could do so much powerful tracks if he didn't fall into such a one-dimensional view
Well can't say I didn't saw it coming
I'll write a big review when I feel ready to do it, for now, just want to say these guys keep reminding me of why I love music.
Well I wasn't sure about this one given that the first track sounds boring and feels like a bad version of Caroline Polachek's Welcome To My Island. But in the end, this is a great k-pop EP, we got some great pop tunes, the highlights to me are Spicy and Salty & Sweet, the bass on these tracks really got me, plus they have the most catchy choruses.

Since How To Survive a Funeral these guys are just flexing, everytime the song kicks ass, has amazing layers and a wonderful tone. Alex already sound like she's home, even though the direction of the new singles doesn't demonstrate the same formula as the last 2 albums, the keys + female vocals gained a distinct but equally effective approach

Appreciate the feedback, yeah I guess I didn't realize a lot of stuff about the project before I put it out. I'm dropping a song next week with a completely different direction from an album that I've been working on since 2021, that I'm much more proud of
