After Take Me Back To Eden I hoped that Sleep Token would move in a direction where they wouldn't lean into (not very well done and out of place) r&b and rap elements/segments, but the singles leading up to this release made it clear that this would not be the case and they actually are now leaning more into those aspects and it's just really unenjoyable for me as I will find myself getting into a song and then a part that just feels so out of place pulls me right out of it.
