Likely to be my album of the year, sorry for slacking lately on ratings and reviews imma get back to it
VOBB is an absurd project. In a good way. But it’s definitely not for everyone. But the wide variety of tracks actually make it one of their most accessible projects yet. Say the Name could easily be an entryway intro clipping.’s Catologue for any old head hip hop fan or new. Especially if they are familiar with the legendary mind playin tricks on me by geto boys. Enlacing is probally the best produced track this year or at least my favorite produced that I’ve heard. The ... read more
First listen was honestly a great experience. The intro is absolutely fire. The Kanye feature was great on the second, it could’ve been better but I love the production. The Bon Iver sample on the last track is my favorite part. But I do feel this could’ve been so much more. I’m not gonna go in depth rn cuz it’s 1:48am but I enjoyed it, don’t think about it too hard.
Edit: after 2 listens it’s not as great or fresh as I thought, but can we agree this album ... read more
I genuinely enjoy most of this. Again, it’s probably because of nostalgia, but there are some pretty dope tracks. However, there is also some pop tracks that didn’t click with me much at all. But there is definitely some tracks I come back too, just not the whole project. The young Travis Scott feature on sin city is also really cool imo.
Favs: New God Flow, Mercy, Clique, Dont Like
Least Favs: To the world, Bliss, Cold, The One, Creepers
This is definitely an interesting new direction for Kanye and is in no means bad. Kanye has some amazing production here that is heavily overlooked. 070 Shake kills it on here, and we get more Cudi Hums. Again, it’s not perfect, and has some of Kanye’s most bland tracks in my opinion ( I don’t hate them at all (: )
Favs: Ghost Town, Violent Crimes
Least Favs: I thought about killing you
One of the most nostalgic albums ever for me, I probally enjoy this a little more than I should. But both Kanye and Jay Z deliver strong performances throughout and the production is top notch.
Favs: N*ggas in Paris, No Church in the Wild, Otis, The Joy, Gotta Have it, HAM, Who gon stop me, Illest motherfucker alive, Why I love you
Least favs: Made in America, Lift Off
MBDTF is one of my favorite albums of all times, and carries some of my favorite tracks ever. Every single song on this album holds up and there is not a single skip. A masterpiece and Kanye’s best
Favs: All except Hell of a life, and Who will survive in America ( Still Great! ) Runaway, Power, and and Monster being the highlights for me!
Update: yea it’s the goat

The last of the OG Kanye trilogy, the weakest imo, but has some stellar new production.

A superior sequel to the college dropout
