i mean like absolute perfection on how ethel can write a whole 15 minute song that feels like it was 3. ethel cain has changed me as a person and when i listen to music i always find myself not even returning to willoughby tucker, but all of her previous works as well
i couldn't even get past the first track without having to stop and stare at my ceiling in bed and listen to it on repeat and uncontrollably sobbing

lorde definitely made her mark with most of these releases and still to this day, it's kind of crazy on how some of these tracks have their impact from being released in 2013. while melodrama was better overall, this album definitely deserves its flowers for having such an impact on music then and even now

this is easily one of my favorite (pop) albums of all time. the production, the lyrics, the message behind every song being so easily yet so hard to depict and relate to someone who doesn't know what the fuck is goin on in their life, yk the works
