nothing quite stands out here, especially when compared to the many other offerings from decades of better political hip hop projects out there.
one of the most interesting, thoughtful and memorable hip hop records ive heard in a while. here's hoping this stays in the public consciousness for a long time.
good atmosphere, good vocal performances sold me on it by the latter half, getting there was just a bit slow.
forgettable pop/folk that lacks the heart of joy's previous releases

everything from the themeing to the interludes to the vocals to the instrumentation to the production is completely top-notch. creative, unique, and heavily beautifully inspired the whole way through. not a second wasted.

Downright gorgeous!!! Strong vocals with some rnb-influenced instrumentation makes this a smooth, charming, easy and captivating listen. Easily the best project I've seen on RANDOM ALBUM REVIEWS so far.
this sounds like joel vinesauce

fucking ass. vance has none of the passion in his voice that he had with his first two albums. this sounds like a product and is mixed like dogwater. if this is what he sounds like forever im likely going to be done listening.
one of the most lifeless pieces of music ive listened to in a while. not even good zone-out music/background noise because the singing is grating.
