While not as good as Folklore, Evermore still delivers some solid folk-pop, even if it’s general sound and production is a little more rough around the edges.

The production is clean, if not bland. It just sucks that Cudi ruins his own project through his uninteresting flows and terrible voice. The Phoebe feature is welcomed if not awkward though.

It’s albums like this that make me distrust the opinions of everyone on this site...

I decided to listen to this album because of how good the reviews are. That was a mistake. Cosmonauts and Under the Table are fine and I like some of the dirty, almost tormented instrumentation, but everything else is miserably, painfully awful. This is an example of someone who can’t sing getting a music career because critics decided to call her a “genius”. Music is subjective, but if you like this, your only doing so because it’s the popular thing to do.
