It's hard to review a "best of" album since it's a random compilation of songs from different albums but it does show off what makes R.E.M. shine as a band which is a fantastic listen. Kind of baffled that this album made the band popular when it is severly uninspired and completely lacks any defining characteristics or creativity - aside from the fact that the main singer's vocals do not match with the indie-pop vibe most of the album takes. There are a ton of really fun moments and memorable vocal lines that continue to mark Kendrick as one of the greats - and I truly don't think he could ever release something that is bad. Rock opera but make it a horror sci-fi hip hop album. Really spectacular, I love the atmosphere this album creates even if its not the most pleasant to listen to all of the time.
