This album was Mac at his most confident. It was also at the time I think his most put together album (until he made Swimming and Circles). The way he was rapping on this album had so much bravado and his bars were slicker. (100 Grandkids, Break the Law, Cut The Check, etc.). A lot of the songs on the album also sounding very complete, well thought out, and not to mention could've even done well on the radio. The production on this album was also very diverse, whereas his past albums had more of a specific sound to them. Definitely one of the best albums in his discography.
