I'm an adjacent Seventeen fan because my s/o loves them... I really like what they've done in the past, but some of these tracks are so uninteresting, and the fact that almost every song is around 2:45 makes me think they're simply going through the motions.
Hilarious that you guys are saying this is coworker music because I just overheard my coworkers talking about how they really liked this album. I'd never heard of Sleep Token before, but the rap parts in the first 2 songs pissed me off.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Jane Remover is the future.
I can only make out about 5% of the lyrics since they're so distant in the mix, but the drums and riffs make this a great listen nonetheless.
I feel like a caterpillar about to enter metamorphosis, slowly being wrapped in silk.
I don't know anything about this guy, but his voice pissed me off. Why is he forcing it to be two octaves lower? Simply pitch it down
Great debut. Surprised more people aren't talking about it, but then again it is a French artist.
Glad it's not much longer, I was starting to doze off. C'mon man this is such low effort.
I NEED to hear her vocals in a quiet, echoing arena. The production and mixing is pure perfection and feels like it's from 30 years in the future, yet the choruses and melodies are familiar and catchy. Some of the songs could've benefited from extending the dance instrumentals, but other than that I have zero complaints. Time to check out her other projects.
Had this at a 90 a couple months ago and I haven't been able to stop listening to it since, so boom 100!!!!! I'm going to eat up whatever tsubi club releases next. 3 songs is criminal.
I think this score is a bit inflated due to people's excitement. Still a good Mac song though.
I just finished Atrioc's 15 hour vod of Outer Wilds (without having played it) and can confidently say that I wish I was in a time loop and could play this game for myself first. But who's to say we aren't in a time loop? I'll play it in the next life!
Her vocals and the guitar riffs in this song give me the same feeling I get from Cage Girl/Cam Girl: an overwhelming sense nostalgia and hope.
Edit: 90 ---> 100
Eerily calming, like being haunted by a friendly ghost who wants you to join her.
Some studs and duds. Could've been a stronger project if it were concise.
