While it is a clear step down from Color Decay, I really enjoyed the synthwork that really reminded me of the older TDWP works. All Out and When You're Gone were amazing and Cure Me just really hit the right spot for me.
I just really don't care for this sound new rock albums have. The Scythe was fun though.
Just not really my cup of tea. I can appreciate it for what it is, but it's just not something I'd listen to on my own.
After the horrendous talk online I was expecting something catastrophic, and while the two songs I couldn't even stand to listen fully were terrible, the album is still alright. Also banger opener and closer.
