twenty one pilots - Breach
100

This album man!! I’ve been wrestling with how to rate it for weeks now, and even after nearly a month, I still can’t get it out of my head. Clancy was great — it had some incredible moments — but it didn’t quite deliver everything I was hoping for from these guys.

Breach, though… this is it. This is everything I’ve been waiting for since Trench. The lyrics hit deeper, the messages resonate so much more with what I’ve personally been going ... read more

AJR - What No One's Thinking

Good stuff for the most part

Peach Pit - Magpie
80

The groves and vibes are here, some more surface level writing on this LP compared to from 2-3. But it still holds its own and I’m very impressed with the entire thing!

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
85

God I needed this so badly!!! KENDRICK MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!!

Rex Orange County - WHO CARES?
80

Excellent vibes with an underlined passion that shines through every single god damn song!! This is peak Rex in my opinion and a through and through great album that sores leagues past pony

Rex Orange County - The Alexander Technique
65

Coming In with slightly unrealistic high expectations considering how much I truly loved “who cares” the Alexander technique definitely leans into the stripped back and raw side of things and I appreciate Alex’s honesty with most of this record but it is taken away by boring songs that honestly mostly sound the same. “Who cares” hits for me because Alex isn’t taking it as seriously and more just making good music but with this record it feels Alex is taking ... read more

Dayglow - Dayglow
85

Sloan aka “Dayglow” has never been a concurrent artist I listen to, but his smash single “can I call you tonight” was my first introduction to him. And in my eyes he had never put out something of that lyrical and instrumental quality. That was until this record, I feel Sloan has found a really good stride in making this album with every song being a certified banger and just a really nice cohesive theme with an equally cohesive sound that evolves through the record. ... read more

Imagine Dragons - LOOM
30

This is the weakest project despite what Bradley says this is more underdeveloped than Murcery in every single way!! this is almost their worst project

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
75

It feels like Billie isn't taking this one as seriously with some bland decisions when it comes to her and her delivery and lyrics but what takes the show is Finneas and his production because it is honestly top-notch, just wish the vocals reflected the same passion

Wallows - Model
70

Model takes steps in the right direction from its predecessor (TMTIO) with a more consistent sound across the record but it also brings some muck that got picked up from their last LP like the boring lyrics and boring delivery for the most part. Dylan feels like he takes a step back in terms of growth in his vocals and delivery but I cannot say the same for Braeden, he definitely brings more spice to the table with this one and I really appreciate that!

twenty one pilots - Clancy
90

Not as good as trench, but it has its great moments!

Wallows - A Warning
90

Great song would like more like this!

Wallows - Bad Dream
90

Great stuff!

Various Artists - Everyone's Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense
10

The paramour cover coming out first definitely made me excited but hearing the gravel truck of a cover for psycho killer made me want to cry

Rainbow Kitten Surprise - Love Hate Music Box
70

LHMB is a very confused album with attempts at “trying new things” is still a forefront but eventually go back to there roots within the last leg of this album, definitely needed an edit or two cause I feel a lot of these songs are absolutely stellar but with the length it doesn’t give those songs the moment they deserve! Overall it is still a good album but wish it was shorter

I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME - RAZZMATAZZ
95

Razzmatazz barges in with a clearly labeled name tag that left a substantial mark on me!! you can feel the passion emanating from this project and it makes me happy dallon got to do this and continue to pave his own path. All the songs feel like they belong here and work together so seamlessly that is a joy to listen to front to back, some moments don’t hit the nail on the head like the placement of nobody likes the opening band and light go down.

I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME - GLOOM DIVISION
80

Dalllon’s sophomore album definitely brings in some interesting sounds and vibes! Overall this project doesn’t touch what razzmatazz since that album really fealt like a passion project and I know IDKHOW is Dallon’s passion but some of it fealt a bit lost or misplaced with this album, it still captures the “idkhow sound”
Thank you have a great time of day!
