Talking Heads - This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)

Such a charming, upbeat song I love every part of this

Talking Heads - Burning Down the House
100

This song has a such a tight groove oh my God

Talking Heads - Speaking in Tongues
97

This has gotta be my favourite Talking Heads album, just totally awesome jams all the way though. The only negative to this album is how good the SMS versions are in comparison.

Duran Duran - Do You Believe in Shame?
90

Very catchy and smooth tune

Duran Duran - All She Wants Is
100

Screw all of yall, this is the coolest thing ever.

Duran Duran - I Don't Want Your Love
97

A very solid DD pop song

Duran Duran - Big Thing
93

The black sheep of Duran Duran's 80s output. Every listen, I love this album more, definitely a "comfort album" I can always rely on enjoying. The stuff here is so experimental and awesome that I can't help but appreciate every note. Kind of a "greater than the sum of its parts" kind of album for me. Never understood the hate for this one, I think it's amazing.

The Police - Every Breath You Take
100

As overplayed as it is, it’ll always be a masterpiece

Icehouse - Electric Blue
100

Synthpop masterpiece and I’ll die by that.

Icehouse - Man of Colours
86

Awesome 80s synth pop. It’s catchy, atmospheric and cinematic I love it. It does slip off a bit near the end, but the rest is fantastic. Electric Blue also is just one of the greatest 80s songs in my opinion.

1. Crazy (95)
2. Electric Blue (100)
3. Nothing Too Serious (92)
4. Man of Colours (83)
5. Heartbreak Kid (81)
6. The Kingdom (90)
7. My Obsession (85)
8. Girl in the Moon (88)
9. Everybody’s War (72)
10. Sunrise (72)

The Police - Synchronicity
84

The singles really carried this album in my opinion. The rest, at least after first listen, didn’t really leave much of an impact (minus Mother of course!) Pretty decent album though, very very unique. Those singles I mentioned before (plus Synchronicity I) are excellent by the way.

Edit- Yeah, this one grew on me a bit.
