this album is really phenomenal and is basically kill bill at his most vulnerable. almost cried at a couple of songs, honestly.
good to see he still has it after that collab album. this is just as good as fullmetal kaiju, if not better.
highlights for me were "animidnight" and "joyce".

There are NO WORDS to describe how I was left feeling after I heard this for the first time.
And even after listening to it about a dozen times by now, it still makes me cry whenever I do it again. Every. Single. Time.
I really hope she comes back (and I also hope I can put out a full review of this absolute masterpiece before she does :p)

Throughout most of this whole album, I had 2 questions that simply could not get out of my mind:

1 - Why exactly is Kanye in this track?

2 - Why did he do this specific thing with this sample?

And I guess those two questions are also kind of my opinion itself on the album. Ye's lyricism is decent at its best and terrible at its worst, flows are forgettable and a lot of the songs from the mid-leg of this project just sound the same due to the production.

honestly, it's shaping up to be my album of the year. i don't think i want it to be but the three singles were just straight up bangers.
it's giving me arctic monkeys and interpol vibes in the best way possible, even if i'm not the biggest arctic monkeys fan

I can't believe I didn't review this before. Sad timing, but I do think this album is a 10/10. Also, just a reminder: it's 55 YEARS old, and there's still few to no metal albums that could reach the influence this one had.
And of course, R.i.P to Ozzy. A true legend who will never be forgotten.
