I'd rather listen to fucking ed Sheeran than this fucking disgrace to humanity
I still think taboo is better but this album is still great in its own ways. it's innovative and has well experimentation, also with Denzels best rapping. But for me it feels a little inconsistent with song quality, but still not bad
Straight bangers all throughout; is what I will say if I was a fucking Lunatic this shits ASS
I hate this guy more than that one guy that took my fucking fruit snack in pre-k, like what the hell dude?
I like the song, but it gets old sometimes when u listen to it too much. But then u like the song again then it gets old and does this cycle.
My brother is a huge fan of this album so I was pushed to enjoy it, but it feels so sluggish and boring for the most part and is just mostly mid overall. And the song runtimes are so short that I can't bring myself to enjoy it. As soon as I get into the vibe of the song, it's over; just kinda ends.
It's good but a tiny bit overrated, bonus points for being made by Joey when he was so young, I mainly like the instrumentals on most songs.
Edit: 80-93 tf was I smoking back then??? This is insane for a 17 yr old to make with insanely good production and rapping from Joey. The songs are so refreshing to listen to every time because joeys flow goes so well with each instrumental. Modern rap masterpiece.
It's ok I guess. Lyrics are a bit corny and not anything special, mixing and vocals are ok at best. The instrumental really carries the song for me on this one. The song has a simple premise too, it's not necessarily bad, but also not anything good. 6/10 at best. Edit: I just noticed how ATROCIOUS the vocals and mixing is on this track which leads me to dislike it even more. 4/10
It's better than regular cmiygl, and that's just because it has my favorite Tyler song in it, wharf talk.
I respect the experimental sounding instrumentals from ye here, but some of them just sound annoying but ig that's the point, but it has to grow on me.
I expected to rock with this hard but it's ight at best
Edit 77-87 production is immaculate and has some of my favorite gorillaz songs on it.
As someone who never listened to a tribe called quest yet, this album is amazing honestly.
The song kinda Kool but I just can't like any overplayed tiktok sound
