Redux Review!
Porter Robinson is technically the artist I've listened to for the longest. Why? Clarity, which is what used to be my favorite song for a long time, came out in 2013 and was secretly a collaboration between Zedd and Porter Robinson.
The reason why I hold that fact so highly is because this album means so much to me. This album came out just a few days before I went through an extremely depressive episode of my life.

The 10-minute drone inside of the Green Typewriters section is a perfect prelude to the noisy song that comes afterwards. Genius decision imo.
When you hit a concrete wall headfirst, it's hard to recount exactly what just happened—what led up to the impact, the nature of the impact, how exactly hurt you are, all of that is temporarily wiped from memory or simply absent. You're left stunned. Dazed. Confused.

AI still has a noticeable stranglehold on a large portion of this album, and even the parts that aren't AI are mediocre at best.
Given that he's apologized and taken some level of responsibility for his actions over the past four years, I tried going into this with some semblance of neutrality, attempting to un-hear the Ye I've heard over the past four years and pretend this was his first project after Donda.
