i think i'm in the minority of people that like guts better than sour. everything is better on this album, from the production to the lyricism to the vocal performances. but it also simultaneously feels like reheating the leftovers of sour conceptually, with songs about heartbreak, jealousy, youth, and the works. no skips, but sometimes songs start to feel very repetitive.

omg this is such a good album it's so groovy. it's so versatile, like even though it's super infectous and makes you want to vibe, it also somehow was the perfect backtrack to me locking in a project i'd been procrastinating. yay!
you can clearly tell they put so much thought and care into the structure of this album. they say it themselves, they want it to sound like the music of the 70s and 80s, yet simultaneously the music of the future, and in that aspect, i really ... read more
this isn't my first full listen of this album, but it's my first time actually reviewing it!

even from the opening track, i already love the vibes of this album. it was really great, chill music. it was dream pop, but you could feel a lot of jazz influence, which i enjoyed. this album feels like an extension and development of the marias rather than just that rehashed and pinned under maria zardoya's name.
