The Black Keys - Peaches!
72

It is what it is and what it is is consistent, easy, and just great music

Noah Kahan - Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever)
86

To sum up my review/reviews for this album, it is music with a lot more personality than I originally gave it credit for. Throughout the extended version, I was intrigued and satisfied, however the extended view between villages is perfection

Noah Kahan - Stick Season
83

Introspective, heartwarming, and nostalgic. Has a great balance between hits and more emotional tracks, Stick Season is an emotional journey which is all too easy to come back to. The View Between Villages is awesome

Noah Kahan - I Was / I Am
67

Short, sweet, and definitely full of life. A massive improvement over Busyhead however, still not to the standard I expect from Noah's music that I have heard. Godlight and Fear Of Water had me captivated though. A solid album which I enjoyed

Extremely bleak and spacey, this album is one which didn't quite hit for me the way it did for others. It's themes and sound, while interesting, did not evoke emotional response in me the way I thought it would. That being said, this album was extremely creative, maybe held back a little by it's length for me. I would love to revisit this and have my mind changed, but for now, I appreciate it for what it is.

Noah Kahan - Cape Elizabeth
86

Incredible EP. I wish it were longer. So heartfelt and personal, while feeling like a cold day on the ocean. From his previous album to this EP the jump was massive; he improved both his song structure and especially his choruses were far better written, filled with personality and songmanship. I am very impressed

Angine de Poitrine - Vol.II
81

Groovy but mechanical but fun but technical but futuristic. I like it

Noah Kahan - Busyhead
62

A little dry and sterile while still being a sweet and introspective album. Some good moments but no songs stood out to me

MJ Lenderman - Manning Fireworks
79

A really fun and easy listen with an introspective feel. Really makes you feel like you're sitting watching a lovely sunset. Some very high highs here. A feeling of comfort throughout

Gorillaz - The Mountain
84

A deeply spiritual experience, diving into discussions about death, the afterlife, and our place in the world. This album somehow manages to feel extremely personal, as I'm sure it is to Damon, even while having so many features and having such a wide range of influence. Gorrilaz most ambitious album and 100% a must listen. Feels like an hour long meditation, guiding you through the mountains of India. The music video for Moon Cave and others was incredible too, a beautiful little movie

Fontaines D.C. - Skinty Fia
90

A dark, gloomy, and scarily Irish journey. Skinty Fia is both catchy and intense. So much creativity and not much can ever sound like this

LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening
95

This is one which I have been wanting to hear for ages. And it was well worth the wait. Both fun and groovy, with a genius combination of genres, ideas, and rhythms. Such a wild combination of styles made into something extremely cohesive, truly best being enjoyed as a full listen. An album that rewards a little bit of patience with an unbelievable amount of fun

The Scythe - Strictly 4 The Scythe
64

A fun, unserious project. Doesn't deliver everything I'd hoped. Can't complain though, hopefully Denzel comes back with something strong

Various Artists - HELP(2)
78

A cool collection of songs which actually don't feel too different thematically despite the large range of artists. A great album for a great cause

James Blake - Trying Times
85

James' best songwriting and somehow also his best production. A beautiful collection of songs held together by his unique voice and his electronic instrumentals, this album is fun to listen to while also being touching in so many ways. Easily his best and most consistent for me. My AOTY so far

Baby Keem - Ca$ino
82

A more more personal album from Keem after a long wait. So much to enjoy and I am a huge fan of how he has progressed since The Melodic Blue. Enjoyed this a ton and its endlessly replayable for me

Jack Harlow - Monica
50

An album which shows off Jack's charisma and ability to make a smooth song, but falls flat at every step of the way. Just okay

Baby Keem - The Sound of Bad Habit
45

Underwhelming but also not, was interesting enough to hear his roots but not enough to ever come back

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper
90

Hits the perfect spot between intimicy and throwing you into the void. A beautifully written and structured album, and I cannot wait to watch the video/live version. Ambition at its finest
