Ren - Vincent’s Tale
70

Musically, Ren (who I had never even heard of before randomly clicking on this album one night) tells a phenomenal story. A story so good in fact, it unfortunately leaves no replay value as it feels like the songs cannot be listened to individually.

T.I. - LET 'EM KNOW
89

Unc still got it 🔥🔥

Labrinth - COSMIC OPERA ACT I
80

Phenomenal, bone chilling vocals accompanied by beautiful orchestral sounds. This album is severely slept on.

DaBaby - BE MORE GRATEFUL
53

While the album does spark some promise about a possible DaBaby comeback, it still feels dull and repetitive.

JPEGMAFIA - EXPERIMENTAL RAP
95

Absolutely breathtaking production bro I'm about to cry. AOTY thus far (positive). We getting experimental with this one 🔥🔥🔥

Chance the Rapper - STAR LINE
96

This is THE come back album in my opinion. Severely underrated and slept on.

colin! - BY ANY MEANS
92

Godly production and flows. Apollo with Big Luke was my most listened to track last year.

KidTokio - RAISED BY HIM.
85

I really gotta start putting people on to this fantastic music man. Mind you this dude is fresh out of high school dropping God tier music. KidTokio GOTTA be next up 🔥🔥

prettifun - Moon and the Stars
95

Never once heard a song by prettifun before, heard a snippet on Instagram and it's been on repeat. Maybe the underground ain't all bad.

BNYX® - GENESIS FM
64

Very strong start, but eventually got repetitive. The highs are quite the vibe. The lows are just there..not a bad song on the album.

Joey Valence & Brae - HYPERYOUTH
100

This is the kind of album that will shape the future. Endless bangers upon bangers. My most listened to album of 2025 for a reason. A perfect mix of god tier production, addicting flows, quickly lyrics, and fun features. Hyperyouth should have a lot more influence in the future.

Yuno Miles - ALBUM
95

Is it a hot take to say that artists like Lil B and DigBar walked so Yuno Miles could not run, but fly? Yuno has become the undisputed goat of meme rap. Putting actual effort into your trash? That trash is now treasure. Yuno has been known to find great beats, and do them absolutely no justice, and this album is a perfect showcase of that ability. And yes, Anthony Fantano unironically had one of the best features of 2025 on "Bobo's Chicken."

Yeat - ADL
49

ADL starts off strong, but quickly falls off into a repetitive, uninteresting mess. A rare instance of a teaser EP being miles better than the album it was hyping up. Got mogged by Bully.

IDK - e.t.d.s. A Mixtape by .idk.
79

Even the Devil Smiles was the first album I listened to this year, and ever since then it has stayed in rotation. With so many sounds crammed into one album, and each one sounds AMAZING. It's actually criminal how underrated IDK is.

Dax - Caught You In The Bed
3

This might genuinely be his worst song yet. Grating vocals and absurdly corny lyrics. How is he getting worse?

Doechii - Anxiety
51

This song is not bad. It's not good but it's not bad. Overplayed to hell and back. A bunch of chronically online internet chuds have been using it to drag Doechiis entire career for over a year now. Can't wait for her album to shut them all up.

Cal Chuchesta - WHODUNNIT?
90

Whodun made such a beautiful melody? Cal and Yuno of course!

Action Bronson - PLANET FROG
80

My first Action Bronson album! Love to see a white guy with motion 😂 In all seriousness, the production of this album was top tier, and I really enjoyed the frog samples. Also glad he changed the album cover.

Isaiah Rashad - IT'S BEEN AWFUL
60

It's Been Awful is far from awful. I feel like a more appropriate title would be "It's Been Overhyped" This was my introduction to Isaiah Rashad, and it was pretty good, but nothing crazy imo. Maybe it'll grow on me, as quite a few songs did land in my 2026 playlist.

Drake - ICEMAN
73

Easily Drakes best work of the decade. Great beat selection, clever wordplay, but the flows are a little repetitive every now and then. Some of the songs also drag on a little long. I also take issue with the fact he's still so hung over on the beef. This especially doesn't make sense when Future, one of the main people he was beefing with, is on the album. Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly happy to see Drizzy and Pluto making hits again, but taking shots at Rick Ross, DJ ... read more
