Drake - MAID OF HONOUR
44

I actually see the vision for this one, I really do. Too bad that vision completely fell off the face of the earth after the first two tracks. Weird album.

Drake - HABIBTI
31

Nearly the whole album is a snooze fest. Very boring it almost put me asleep before I could listen to the other two. I can appreciate WNBA and the fact that Sexxy Red didn't sound completely trashy for once.

Kenny Mason - BULLDAWG
87

Kenny Masons best and most cohesive project to date. This album absolutely amazed me about how every track was better than the last. A wonderful piece of music that seemingly masters so many different sounds, with phenomenal features from JID and Paris Texas.

Billy Marchiafava - BIG BODY BROTHERS
80

This will genuinely go down as one of the greatest coworker music songs in history. Y'all only ever hear the Bubonic part but later on Billy is genuinely spitting. Billy is top 1 coworker music change my mind

The D'Oh Account - D'Oh! Anthem

Most unfunny meme ruining Instagram reels this year + ai slop song

A$AP Rocky - Don't Be Dumb
77

A very strong return for A$AP Rocky. This album presents a variety of sounds, with some very strong features and vocal performances. I also loved the beats and sample choices. Very excited for the hopeful deluxe! Also imma add Doechii absolutely did her thing. She needs more love.

Don Toliver - OCTANE
67

Don Toliver's follow-up to his amazing album Hardstone Psycho is good, but fails to live up to the same heights. It has some pretty high highs, and a few cool samples, but ends up kind of repetitive in the end.

North West - N0rth4evr
70

North West, the future of nepotism. I mean this in a good way. There's so many industry plants and nepo babies with no talent nowadays, but North has a bunch of potential. I absolutely love her production and sample choices on this album, she really takes after her father. However, there are multiple instances of poor vocal mixing, repetitive grating snares, and lackluster lyrics. But she's 12, I mean what do you expect? That being said, rating this from a pure musical perspective, ... read more

J. Cole - The Fall-Off
82

Such a complete and versatile showing of J Cole's numerous talents. Absolute top-tier flows and lyricism, with great production. Was hoping he'd incorporate Dreamville a bit more with at the very least a JID feature, especially if this actually does turn out to be a retirement album. He still sounds hungry in this album though, so I highly doubt this is the end. I feel like there's sadly many people who don't take J Cole seriously, so there's always more to prove.

Comboplanet - Petals in the Wind
65

A little repetitive, but I don't mind it. Nice little lofi beat that reminds me of Minecraft music a bit

Kanye West - BULLY
88

I don't know why people's idea of a Ye comeback album had to be this perfect Graduation level project. The man is undoubtedly out of his prime, which honestly makes me even more impressed with his latest project. The fact that after everything that happened, we were still able to get such a cohesive album blows my mind. With beautiful production, great flows, and a wide range of different sounds, this album feels like a tribute to all of his different eras. A lot of people are saying ... read more

Baby Keem - Ca$ino
84

This album blew away all expectations I had! I wasn't a really big Baby Keem guy coming into this, but this certainly made me a huge fan. With fantastic production, a wide range of flows and inflections, two great Kendrick features, and so much more, this was a very enjoyable listen. My stand out tracks are Dramatic Girl and Circus Circus Freestyle!

Hass - THE SECOND COMING
69

Hass' new album is a very nice vibe! That being said, some tracks just sound plain unfinished. Rather it be lackluster beats, poor mixed vocals or corny flows, the lows are there, but the highs are very high. God's in Control and Wedding Cake are stand out tracks, and I also appreciate the numerous Kanye references across the album.

Dax - God, Can You Hear Me?
35

It's a freshing change of style for Dax, with vocals that are somehow decent and grating at the same time? I don't know how to explain it? But I must certainly say, I prefer a mentally sound and happy Dax to whatever the corny joker era was.
