so sad like really really sad like don’t even look forward to having a good day
if cloud 9 is the highest rank i could give this album, megan moroney has produced some music that in my eyes, land her around cloud 7
his vocals are perfect but there is nothing special here. a scarcity of bops which is frightening considering this is his first solo album in ten years. there is so much you can do with the theme of love and sadly this album comes off as performative rather than authentic. unfortunately this effort is not worth the wait because this is boring. it’s not experimental or bad, but experimental and bad is better than boring. an album can be so boring that its not very good and that’s why ... read more
the ariana grande protege strikes again. i’m seeing some identity form a little on this record but still waiting for a complete identity in madison. aside from the geometry dash beats on a few songs, the production is super clean and of course the vocals are top tier. best song: locket theme. worst song: complexity.
lyrics are deep and production is definitely interesting and unique. very good storytelling as well. however, sometimes when i listen i am extremely bored. some songs are complete duds, while some others stand out. i appreciate the effort and aesthetic this album brings but i can't say that i returned to this album a lot after my initial listen. i can see how this record can be well received and appreciated, but it completely lacks replay value. best songs: david, hammer, what was that, ... read more
i simply do not know how this album can be ranked poorly. its not mind boggling, the lyrics are subpar, but the vibes are perfect. some much needed pop music added to the scene in 2025. this album most definitely separates Addison from her previous work as a tiktok star. im excited to see her keep growing. this album is super short and the interludes are actually pleasant. best songs: new york, diet pepsi, fame is a gun, money is everything, in the rain. worst song: times like these
not a big gaga fan but this album is nice. the production is really good but the ballads are pretty boring. not sure why die with a smile is on this album, it does not fit the vibe. very interesting interpolations, shadow of a man is a take on michael jackson, how bad do u want me is a taylor swift song in disguise, and killah is very prince. not terrible but im not returning like crazy. top song: garden of eden.
nothing crazy here. good, fun rap/pop/funk music but i don’t see myself returning to it a lot. you don’t hate yourself listening to it but not eager to go listen again. the production is insane. top song: ring ring ring
this is a great album that rlly tells the story of a relationship well. vocals, lyrics, storytelling overall is great. sad this got snubbed from a grammy nomination. top song: vodka cranberry with 167 listens.
this is what people who don’t like taylor swift think her music sounds like. i don’t see myself returning to this album a whole lot and my top streamed song is wood with only 25 listens. its not terrible, some good pop songs like fate of ophelia, opalite, father figure, and wood. and actually romantic is not a bad diss, would be better if it had a rock version. not her best by far but also not her worst. some lyrics suck tho (eldest daughter).
just straight fun pop. nothing serious, nothing crazy artistic, not a lot of deep lyrics, but some rlly good work done here.
this sounds sooo good. the high note - speechless. the story?? yes. the music video? flawless. the lyrics?? gut-wrenching. he’s really doing it all again. i hope this album is all over the charts because he deserves it. i hope this song gets the recognition it deserves.
Charli XCX’s BRAT is loud, confident, and unapologetically chaotic, in both good and not-so-good ways. It’s an album drenched in attitude, with thumping production and a neon green aesthetic to match. But for listeners not already in love with hyperpop or club-heavy techno, BRAT might be a tough pill to swallow.
There’s a lot to appreciate here: the energy is relentless, Charli’s confidence is magnetic, and the overall vision is clear. She’s not trying to make ... read more
Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft is nothing short of a masterpiece. With just ten tracks, she manages to capture a kaleidoscope of emotion. Pain, joy, confusion, intimacy, fear, all wrapped in some of the most stunning production and lyricism of her career. It’s her best project to date, which is saying something given the strength of her past work.
From the first track, the atmosphere is so distinct. It’s like walking through a soft, rainy dream. There’s something ... read more
Tate McRae’s newest album delivers high-tempo pop with polished production and serious replay potential, but it doesn’t come without its flaws. While this is arguably her strongest project yet, it leans heavily into familiar territory, with love and relationships dominating the thematic space and some weaker lyrics holding it back from being a standout pop release.
The clear highlight is "bloodonmyhands" ft. Flo Milli, a total banger that feels K-pop inspired with a beat ... read more
