Gr(o)over Washington Jr. displays a pouring of refined and blissful jazz. Magical indeed.

The Deep - KPOP B!TCH

Despite a few moments where it almost sinks into its mix of bubbly nostalgia with some of modern K-Pop's less interesting and abrasive elements, the sugary and yearnful club vibes are incredibly fun and hooking. The weight of death's presence and life's absence, drowning and falling in this cruel, disconcerting place systemically created to isolate, exploit, blame, and murder you. The generational hurt inflicted by white supremacy on black people remains, loudly living in the endless echo of police gunshots. Slauson ... read more
