AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
This album speaks to me like no other. It nearly made me cry, and I'm not one to cry to albums frequently. I find myself relating to this, since I've had my fair share of mental problems in my life as well. The eerie vocals mixed with the haunting, abrasive instruments create a soul-crushingly beautiful atmosphere. I regret not listening to this sooner.
However, I feel like I haven't gotten everything I can out of this album on first listen. I don't feel that it's right to give this album a 100 ... read more
I don't know what the fuck this guy is saying, but it scratches my brain good.
I forgot to give this a 100.
I had to listen to this a few times to get it, but now I know that his is objectively one of the best albums of all time and pretty much perfect. No real human actually dislikes Radiohead.
The instrumentals are amazing and ground-breaking, total bangers. Thom Yorke's vocals fit perfectly with every instrumental that's thrown at him. The albums flows together perfectly, but the songs can still be listened to individually. I listen to this album almost every single ... read more
I hope whoever made this puts a gun as deep into their throat as they can and pulls the trigger.
Masterfully blends brilliant social commentary with bangers. No skips.
Again, GY!BE manages to pull me in, even though this is a 74-minute long strictly instrumental album. The instrumentals and build-up to the intense parts are amazing. GY!BE goes out of their comfort zone with ditching field recordings, which does suck a bit, making the album harder to decypher. Despite this, GY!BE is incapable of making a bad album and it is shown again here.
This is fucking great.
Lil Ugly Mane can seamlessly transition between different genres like it's easy. The storytelling and rapping are amazing as well. The second part is a bit sub-par compared to the rest, but it's only a minor stain compared to the amazing track/EP this is.
Holy shit. This album changed my life.
Firstly, "Gay Explicit Sex Sounds" challenged my preconceived notions and biases. Growing up in a society that often stigmatizes non-heteronormative identities and expressions of sexuality, I was conditioned to view them through a lens of misunderstanding and judgment. However, this album provided a gateway to a world I had previously been ignorant of, allowing me to explore and appreciate the beauty and diversity of queer experiences. Through ... read more
Amazing album. Great production. Deserves the #1 of 2024. Don't know what else to say.
The best album of the fucking decade. Everything was amazing about this album. Down to the very last detail.
The instruments are perfect, the vocals are perfect, the lyrics are perfect, I can't even try to nitpick a single flaw within this album.
This is probably the best album I've ever heard. Made me fall in love on first listen. Bought a vinyl immediately.
The texture is amazing. Everything about it is amazing. It made my ADHD brain be able to sit and listen to a 1,5 hour album with 20 minute songs in one sitting. Did not get bored a single time.
You need to listen to this. No excuses.
87 -> 96
I constantly find myself revisiting this album again and again. I don't know what it is about it, but this album just scratches my brain in just the right way. Ecco2k's vocals are amazing, I love his voice. The vocals also fit the etherial production extremely well.
Why am I not surprised that basically the only good Drain Gang album is one without Bladee's involvement?
I've lost friends over this.
Like with their previous album, I admit that it's not perfect. This shouldn't be a good album, but it just is.
It's fun, it's stupid, and the line "Interior gas station McDonalds" was dropped in the middle of a song. The vocals are great, the production is great, the lyrics are funny. The album doesn't take itself too seriously, which is needed when making this kind of album.
gecgecgec
Fuck you, I'm giving this a 100.
I don't think it's a 100% perfect album in every way, absolutely not. However, the amount of charm on this album is insane. The bass, the autotune, the samples, the two tracks that sound like a monkey on a soundboard, I love it. It does what everyone else is scared to do. Not everyone will get it, and that's OK.
Even if I am giving this a 90, I don't think I fully understand this album. But I still think that this is a revolutionary project and that SOPHIE is a fucking genius. The album feels incohesive and perfectly cohesive at the same time. Some of the songs are wildly different to each other, but they still somehow form a cohesive project.
I'm not even really sure what more to compliment about this album. Just go listen to it.
R.I.P. SOPHIE
I hate TikTok for making Crystal Castles "Edgy 12-year-old" music.
Either way, this is an extremely solid album with awesome production. I love the chiptune-ish production on this album. The vocals feel like just another instrument and not the main thing, which I actually like.
Some tracks are worse than others. A few of the tracks are just okay. The popular tracks off of this are popular for a reason.
This was a massive dissapointment. The production is sloppy and the vocals aren't delivered well. Definitely the worst Kanye West album. If you're listening to this, keep in mind that Kanye is 46 years old. The lyrics are extremely questionable and seem like something a 19-year-old on amphetamines would write.
It still isn't the worst thing I've ever heard, so I won't give it a 0.
Oh my lord.
Lyrics are a bit questionable, but they are delivered beautifully. The mixing and production are amazing. I didn't get bored while listening to this a single time. The last 3 songs are mediocre by Kanye standards, but still stellar.
No real person actually dislikes this album, right?
