With angry son/woolworm as the final track of course it's a a near hundred
Short, but packs a punch. Good screams and clean vocals. Track 4 "We Built Our Home Out of Shattered Things" is one of the most insane songs I've heard in a while. What more could you ask from a debut?
Why are you saying this is standard basic and mediocre yall need to grow up
WAVYHU$TLINMUSIC (i love you reused) brought me to tears what a tape from kray
Long Island both versions top tier midwest emo for sure (I've been listening to the single for the entire year since it came out). The entire EP slaps, would've had this on repeat in 2018🙏
The long piano outro was a letdown (would've been an 80 without it) but insane vocals though!
Things U Do (later reused in Dance For Me (2022)) is probably the most genuine track by him, love that song to death.
The track placements are a bit of a mess? The beginning is a rough listen, and the two tracks he did leave at the end really make this drag. Could've ended with Julie With and By This River (Eno's best song) instead.
The most potent face-melting wretched beautiful thing I've ever heard, drags your face on the asphalt and never stops
Wasn't a huge fan of the songs leaning towards a grand, synthy sound in the latter parts, but the first half was close to a full hundred; think of Masked Dancers but make it skramzy?
Revisiting this after seven years(??????) More people need to know about him, it's a shame he quit making music. Midwest emo combined with a mathy take on slacker rock? Leave out the two lo-fi beat intermission tracks and this would be a bona fide masterpiece front to back.
Imagine having Sportsmen on your album and not ending the album with it😭😭😭
Revisiting music I used to listen a ton in elementary school. Like goddamn this goes stupid, probably will go up to a hundred on the next listen.
Dirty Nachos 2? Believe is a beautiful song though🙏 I'm Tryna Sleep too, just glad he left them at the end.
oh, and when you sink in to the ground you'll fly
