i was scared i wouldnt like it. i dont know where that fear came from, considering i now have almost a third of the tracks on my playlist.
erm. its just. a tiny bit boring? there was nothing in there for me. sorry to all the real estate mega fans, but i wasn't all that interested in any of the songs.
one of the people im closest to loves cavetown, so i went to listen in case they brought it up and let them know they're on your mind is just.. so good? it wasnt the best but it was interesting and had some good songs
been listening to the singles as they came out and it was so worth it for this album. certainly a step up from razzmatazz since almost all if these slap so hard.
favorites: what love?, find me
if i had to recommend a good synth-pop album, this would be it. now, i don't listen to much synth-pop, but if this was my first time listening i would be HOOKED on the genre
NEW TYPE OF MUSIC??? it feels slightly underdeveloped in some songs but GOD did some of them slap. all of them are pretty good but it's just not the best. needs a bit more development and it could be SO good.
THIS ONES FOR THE GIRLS AND THE GAYS LETS DO THiS FELLAS
highlights: virgos groove, heated, cozy
recently rewatched the series and decided, you know what? lets listen to the albums. and the music SLAPS. i mean, i already knew it did from the anime but oH MY GOD did the album step it up.
the bedroom pop album. although not good in a technical sense, its such a guilty pleasure album for me that i can't stop myself from listening to hot rod just one more time.
highlights: hot rod (if you couldnt tell)
each time I hear this album, i feel the need to cry. this may be because ive cried to this album on numerous occasions, but it has such a way to worm into your feelings and emotions so it becomes inexplicably intertwined with them, and its truly beautiful.
highlights: francis forever, last words of a shooting star, drunk walk home
all of the theater kids i know LOVE jhariahs music. i am also a theater kid. i am also a jhariah fan. there has to be some coorespondence here i swear
one of THE albums ever. neil cicireaga you are a master mind. would be 100 if not for damn SPIRAL OF ANTS.

i DIDNT find kilby girl from tiktok and im proud of it! a bunch of people up here in the northeast really like this album, maybe just because of the maine and vermont vibes. however i also like it so im not in a place to judge them.
