Frank Ocean - Blonde
100

the only 100 I have given and probably will ever give. I love albums that make the listener feel something, or experience something or reflect on something. This album does exactly that and so much more. To this day and as much as I listen to Frank Ocean less than I used to, this album means so much to me personally and connected with me so much in a way no other piece of media has been able to since and I doubt will ever. The split of the album is one of the greatest things everrr!! I've cried ... read more

It's a fairly good album. A few really good songs that I really like such as should've worn a bonnet, but it feels a tiny bit incomplete and a bit messy. The sound is great, and beats are lovely but there are a few underwhelming tracks that hold it down. The songs that are good are really good though.

I might be slightly bias, but this is such a good album. I personally see it as Brent's best project, and I have tons of the songs from the album on my playlist and they all have such a great feel. Vocals are amazing, mixing is amazing, and they are all unique but not distant sounding from each other.

An amazing album. Fairly close to perfect when it comes to hip-hop/rap, and I truly believe it is one of the best in the genre. The entire album contains a story of sorts and does incredibly well at making the listener feel emotion, which to myself is one of the biggest factors in making an album. The entire album feels cohesive and when I listen to the full album, I don't skip much at all. This should go down through generations known as the art that it is. The culture, history, and power ... read more

Childish Gambino - "Awaken, My Love!"

One of the best R&B albums sever for sure, has a really unique but complete sound that I find myself coming back to a lot. The vocals are amazing, most beats are all memorable and the pure effort into the sound, feel and emotion behind every track is so impressive. It is something that deserves the hype that it gets. The only thing I could say against it is there are a few songs that feel unnecessary or don't fit with most of the other songs, and it weighs the album down quite a bit.

I liked it a load!! Had a consistent but not repetitive style and sound, and there are quite a few really good songs on the album. It feels like a complete album which is always great. While I don't see myself adding many of the individual songs to my playlist, I've already given many relistens to the album. It is great.
