relatively good shoegaze record, some inconsistency here and there but nothing abhorrent. worth a listen
I have to say, I am slightly impressed by this album.
Going into Buzz, I really had zero expectations after Tsunami came out, thinking that this would just be another Nicole and nothing more and, more or less, thats what we got, however, it is an improvement. Jpegmafia drops his newest album I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU and I was going into this with an insane amount of hype after hearing the singles with SIN MIEDO quickly becoming my favourite JPEGMAFIA track ever, next to the likes of Garbage Pale Kids and Jesus Forgive Me, I Am A Thot. Well at least Niki has been consistent with these track releases.
Tsunami is the 3rd (?) single released for her upcoming album Buzz and again its an improvement on the relatively dull Nicole but doesn't excite me beyond a nice little tune. While Niki's lyricism continues to stand out, the sound to which she finds herself in has been so overused that I am scared Buzz will become another Nicole and not provide anything past a surface level bit of enjoyment.

After listening to Lithonia and what a great single that was, I came into this project with very high hopes. Childish Gambino, however, disappoints once again. Much like his previous album this year, it's not bad, just not good.
