Definitely not up to the quality that other Westside Gunn projects are at. I would almost say it is his first project that I didn’t enjoy listening to. It’s a short album, basically an EP. The best song is the last track, it’s not really close. The worst track is literally every other one. It was an extremely redundant set.
Some hilarious lines. Other than that the fuk was Dave Blunts doing the last 5 tracks. It went from a 10 to a literal 1. I can’t make up how bad this album was to a point where it was impressive. It’s like getting less than a 50 on a true or false test. Kanye needs to be on a list for hopping on ts. Im yapping, but save an hour of your life and go to the gym.
Honestly this one is not as good as the other ones. Songs like Make better are just plainly bad. I would say the best track is no days w/o dumping. So real because even on Holy Saturday we not taking breaks.
We are back baby. This ep feels like bro is mad at someone. The dumping supremely double entendre had me floating. Jay nice had a nice feature. This lp is prolly in the middle in terms of quality. Solid 72. It’s not bad, it’s just how much can bro dump until his quality drops. I want more, bro I’m becoming gluttonous with how his release schedule spoils me.
Damn this sounded like peak Griselda with Joey badass. This song was never even capable of being bad.

I don’t know how I was never recommended this. From the very start you are hit with a top 3 song of this millennium with Be (intro). The way he describes a twisted world where his only grace is his daughter, will make a real man tear up. Then I get hit with The Corner and wonder who’s this feature. I look in the credits I see Kanye. I don’t know if he was a writer or producer, but it is insane to me these verses here. Kanye comes back at the end of the album dropping bars and ... read more
Got the idea for this review from jah, so thanks man. As a D1 Frank ocean meat rider, this album has some early Frank vibes written all over it. The dreamy feeling “after dark” has nostalgia ultra level high. Every thing down to the production experimentation in the latter of the tracklist is a high for me and definitely a great new suggestion. Also, to call this guy Frank ocean but new is a heresy because franks the goat.
This is album is just average, plain and simple. There isn’t any horrible horrible tracks (like a <30) but there isn’t a single track that is great (like 80<). The best song is definitely the last track, Off the Meter. I’m not a playboi Carti glazer, it is the only track with any amount of emotion or substance in it.
Pretty good album. It is a break between Craven, giving us a new producer. His production and specifically the use of woodwind instruments to make beats that feel almost Asian is awesome. Like these beats feel similar to who you foolin. I think the best track is lethal force.
Even though it is a collection, it has so much insight into the early artistry of Frank. The demo tracks are extreme highs. I will say that my reviews of Frank will always be biased because of my infinite glaze towards him. Best song is the city.
Prolly the best in the series so far. Hardest rhymes especially in the first track. The second song is alr, he takes a step back from a dense rhyme. The last ones are all alr but the last track is awesome. Maybe the best in the whole series.
It’s just not great. The best songs are filler quality on his other projects, and every other song is horrible. The best song is the last track, because it is over. The worst is late checkout. Just plain old poor rapping.
I would never cry to a frank ocean song. I am a man.
Sideway begins:
Imma be short. His throw aways would make top 20 lists.
Really good debut project. This album has grown on me and even with its flaws it is still a great starting point. The song that has fallen off the most is wild for the night. The best track is either PMW or LVL. Btw this project contains the best posse cut of all time with 1train. How did they all cook, and why is one of the best features yellawolf.
Definitely the worst so far. Not only do we get extremely monotonous rapping from fahim, the beats are just lame. There is no substance to the tracks and they feel very linear, with 70s style rapping, not rhyming one word.
Tha god fahim delivers a very strong rapping performance in the first two songs. He follows it up with some of my favorite “chipmunk” Kanye beats. Nick Cravens production skills are insane and severely underrated. I just love being a frank ocean fan and practically dying from starvation. But fahim is the complete opposite.
Just wanted 4 extra songs on the album for free streams and future sales. Prolly still the same rating but slightly worse because at least make it look like this is for the fans.
This one is pretty mid. Repetitive rapping over pretty bland beats, which are opposite of what I expect from the Dump Gawd himself. Best song is the third track.
