Definitely a great bounce back from his last ep, which was not good to say the least. I don’t have much criticism besides welcome back to quality work Dump GAWDDDD.
It’s just not that good. I don’t expect much from a hard worker who puts quantity out with quality but I really did not enjoy the beats, the rhymes, and the flows. It’s really not great.
Dixons evolution may be the most fun to watch today. She doesn’t disappoint, and keeps her artist progression releasing this work of art.
It’s alr. First Dump Gawd entry in a while so I was expecting a bit more. I just didn’t enjoy it that much. Jay Nice was in everything track I’m pretty sure and I don’t think he really added anything. It’s just completely average.
Just a rerelease so I’d say I overall enjoyed this project an even 70. It wasn’t bad it’s just I’ve already listened to these tracks.
Listened to this album b4 school and it is phenomenal. I’ve been trying to review whole catalogues and today we going through JPEG. This is a phenomenal album, because it combines the futuristic beats of Peggy with Danny Brown’s voice. His voice is so unique, like Playboi Carti’s but Brown’s is good. The best tracks are the crazy 5-song run that opens up the album. Elevated my expectations to another level, which were met. The worst, and what stops Scaring The Hoes from ... read more
Freaking amazing album. I was listening to this in class, because I’ve been trying to review a bunch of classics. His continued ability to make very deep beats is wild. I love his sound, his sampling, and his music theory: making complex beats for simple rap. He also just explodes on certain tracks which gets super hype and never old. Best songs are all of them but the first half is barely better than the second half. I would give this a 89.9 repeating.
I listened to this while going to sleep. I’ve been relistening his songs and Melt my eyes see your future is just another masterpiece. Every track feels like a psychedelic trip into his world told through two things that I’m a sucker for: boom bap and jazz rap. Walkin and Melt Session are drugs bro holy. Another phenomenal album.
Why is it not that bad. He just chooses to master any instrument he touches. I listened to this and it’s not what I wish I got from him, but I respect his will to push creative boundaries and break his own rules, just to please himself. He is taking the Frank ocean approach of just doing what inspires him instead of being conformed by the industry.
Great album, actually almost perfect. And the first two songs ohh my gods bro I was floating. Life changing samples, making soul music into soul music. It was life changing
This is another classic before my tests. Such a great album just as good if not better than graduation. I don’t need to make a long review, you guys already know how phenomenal this project is. It loses pints because listening to old Kanye makes me sad now that I know he has fallen so far. Best song is all falls down or We don’t care.
CAAT - classics after Ap tests
Today we have an amazing album from Kanye. While I think it is still overrated, the album The Life of Pablo is a great piece of his work. The album is a composition of every sound, rapping style, and production method he has pioneered or innovated to this point. That is why if you are trying to get into Kanye in an overarching way, TLOP is a 10. Wish me luck on this AP test, and I’ll wish all others the best on their academic endeavors.
This shit has me in tears. The only soundtrack that actually gets me floating. C418’s ability to take simple pianos and create the most perfect beats ever created. The best song is subwoofer lullaby, and the worst song is the one with the dying chicken (it scares me every time it comes on the playlist). Overall I actually feel perfection on this project. Mostly because of goodness, and a lot of nostalgia too.
First time reviewing Boldy James, and he is like Tha Dump Gawd in terms of output. James puts in a lot of work to release a solid LP, maybe the third best of his this year. I honestly wish it was a little shorter and the other songs were used in a different album. It factor is the best track, and it is almost a perfect song. I love his flows on this one. Ik that a lot of people like come back around, but it’s not for me for some reason. I hate that I don’t like it.
I love JPeg, but this ep ain’t doing it for me. It’s just way too plain and all of the music is subpar. The best part about this tape is just hearing him again. The worst part is the production quality, it is so egregious. The best song is the 4th song but the competition ain’t high.
I didn’t enjoy it that much. That’s not because I hate rock or dance punkish music, it was just not my cup of tea. It felt offbeat and choose a better name bro. Had to tell my teacher in class I was listening to viagra boys. The first song was the best song and it got my hopes up that this would be a great album. Overall average but slightly worse at pints.
This album is more incomplete than vultures 2. I miss the old Kanye, innovations so bold Kanye, I hate the new music, blame it on the ___ music, shortened fuse music. I know I sound bitter, I should delete twitter, but this guy adores H!tl3r.
Stayed up to listen to this absolute gem. Just shows how much longevity these guys have and their drive to make raw shit. I will forever glaze the ability to combine boom bap and neo jazz/soul. The best song is the track with Benny the butcher. Genuinely a perfect song. No real skips and so far this is a contender for album of the year.
I thought I would review the Grammmy winner. She actually went to a high school 5 minutes away. This mixtape is great and it’s stand out song, Denial Is A River, is a perfect blend of fun energy and a look into what life is like once u are famous. I think this album could have had better substance in the last 5 tracks. I know that a lot of people like Nissan Altima, but personally that track never resonated with me. In conclusion, it is a fun little mixtape that is held down by sluggish ... read more
