i don’t know, like i was so hyped for this album when it first came out and i loved the way he blended his wide variety of influences but damn do i feel like this album aged bad in a little amount of time. this album is definitely a grower for me.
the first time i've listened to this record i thought the lo-fi feel of the production was pretty meaningless and added nothing to the album experience.
Listening to this again and again made me feel the absolute opposite about the production choices.
Everything in this album compliments itself. From Julian's sharp croone to the great head bobbing bass lines.
this album's just a classic.
