actually refreshingly new type of techno album. One of the best new album in electronic music this year.
really good but the tracks need to be longer, cant stress this enough. But with the recent 2020 track releases, i know Eartheaters new album will be better
Surprised to see that the critics scores are not higher then the last album.
The album takes a darker tone, rather than the nostalgic, pacey feel of Dogrel. The lyrics seems more mature, and in turn emotional, but also with hints of comedy which always is the best mix in writing.
The darkness of the album and the sound makes me think this album shouldn't be as accessible, but the production is so good that every song is moreish in its own right. You can tell they are big fans of Velvet ... read more

"you just dont get the depth of the lyrics, such songs as two halves has a deeper meaning and its just dark humour all round that you arent understanding. Flight of the Conchords in contrast is purely comedy based with know other intention layered into there songs."

"I love Godspeed more... but Mogwai have a completely different sound and aren't really comparable to who is the best. I would say though that Mogwai have done more good stuff more consistently where as GSY!BE's best stuff is off the chart amazing but some of their other album aren't on the same level in my personal opinion."
