lacks a lot of the depth I’d like to have from arguably the top singer in the world.
kind of drags a bit, but it was definitely a solid introduction for me to westside boogie.
I recognize a great deal of his work feels eratic and frankly unfinished, but it’s the peaks he experiences in that mess which kept me excited as a fan.
you could probably make a decent posthumous project putting this and bvf together. that doesn’t happen unfortunately.
this feels very gross listening to years after xxxtentacion’s passing. if this project could have been filled with more carefully drawn posthumous remixes such as the title track, this could have been a very endearing tribute piece. instead, we get…something else.
