this caught me by surprise. solid songs, if somewhat derivative. stellar production and performances.
A lovely little record. For fans of Blithe Field, any Sam Ray project, Alex G, Coma Cinema etc. Nothing surprising to fans of lo-fi bedroom pop. Some nice poetry and field recordings/samples throughout. Cool little rap interlude. Nice balance of acoustic guitars, synth loops and dinky drum machines.
Favorites: ...inside the house was getiting darker,... lillies, winter on the moon, interlude, outside the air is getting thinner,
A nice return to form. Hope it won't be 6 years in between albums again...
