Music that's meant to invoke negative emotions is generally not going to be up my alley for a full-length album but this one's not even that good at it. An instrumental version of this would probably be an 80 or so in my opinion. Most of the lyrics give you the sense that it's more not what others are expressing than self-expression. This is the most inconsistent record I've heard from him and 10/16 of the songs are unparalleled in what they do. The rest (video warning attempts, eruption, lipstick destroyer, self tanner, blow your heart, and beast sting) range from great but outdone by himself (eruption/lipstick destroyer) to just not very out there for this album. Substance - 0 - This is my biggest issue with the whole song, it says nothing but "I care about everything I shouldn't" and will distort your worldview if you listen for too long

Message - 2 - It could be a bit worse (demondice) and it could be a lot worse (g block, all we know is redrum; hypnotize, they do what I say). Either way, satirical discrimination comes from the same brain as real discrimination and ends up having the same effect ... read more
