Gybe has always been one of my favorite bands of all time, and their first three-album run, I think, is downright the best three-album run ever. F# A# ∞ heavily criticizes the current state of the world. Both its conclusion and overall feel are considerably darker and more depressive. And while I think that has its own charm as well, my favorite album of theirs (and of all time) is Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven.

"never wear out your summer" is an eclectic trip between what is absolutely gorgeous melodies and awe-inspiring landscapes as well as a quick look towards dissonant sound and positive conflict of a time. its constant back and forth and contrast makes this whole record something really special. insanely overlooked album
