Authority face blasting music. Outrageously feral and original vocals. some of the meanest shit ever made. These guys know how to make music that literally makes you want to start beating ass in the pits (if you've seen their Hate5Six performances then people have)
Bone Breaking chugs, Pit opening rifts, and one of the most impressive displays of vocal talent in the scene. Jesus Piece has cemented their place in the scene. Having such a long stint between records didn't hurt the immense amount of pure mastery of the form. I am not a production or instrument man so I can't tell you if the mix was amazing but what I can tell you is that it's loud when it's needed in a good way. Very hopeful for this band and loved this project.

I want to start this review by saying that if the whole album sounded like the last son, then this would easily be one of their best records. The sparse but excellent use of strings and horns on this record are *chef's kiss*. As said if the whole album took this route then it would be AMAZING. Whereas, OK Computer uses influence from both their previous records at the time, Kid A is a microcosm within itself. The emotions are deeper and more realized on this record compared to other Radiohead records. They go for a more experimental electronic route, but not afraid to dip back into the bare guitar, scratchy tendencies, but this time instead of the scratchiness adding to the depression, it only makes you more existential.
