2112 may have started the golden age of Rush albums, but Farewell to Kings solidified this band as no fluke. Aaaaaaand it's all over my pants. That album is so good, I don't care about a "weak second half" or laziness, cause the title track is one of the greatest masterpieces of Rock and Roll there is. It's not often that a band comes up with a song that has such perfect storytelling, or a song where the lyrics and instrumental play off each other perfectly, or where both electric and acoustic guitar is used while sounding great.
