Hitting this milestone with another classic. Gotta say, I kinda love this one. The great thing about the Beatles is they are able to produce amazing music without going into the extremely technical and artistic like most high-rated albums tend to do. For his age and legacy, Paul McCartney still manages to produce an album which is nostalgic and pleasant. A throwback for the fans.
I actually didn’t mind this one that much. Akylas unfortunately does come off as a bit much and purposefully overplaying this character to be likeable that it becomes very fake. However, his energy throughout is very clear and is a strength on this album.
Although nothing here sparks me to come back, I did enjoy the unique and well executed production. Akylas definitely was able to establish his own sound here
As 50+ year old album which only consists of vocal and guitar, it’s pretty good. Nothing that I’d go back to however, this just isn’t for me.
