Cryptograms

This was a pretty solid album. In the beginning, the tracks were flowing very very well between themselves. It kinda slowed down as the album progressed, but there were still a few spots further in with some amazing transitions and continuity. I enjoyed the instrumentation for a while, and a few tracks were different, but the formula becomes pretty well known about halfway through. It's not a bad formula, I enjoyed most of the songs, but it's still repetitive. Also in the first half, the more subdued vocals kinda irked me. I have no idea why, the focus of this album is clearly the instrumentation, but it still bugged me. The interlude-esque tracks between some of the more energetic songs were also nice for a little while, and then it got repetitive towards the end. Overall, this is a good album, but it becomes a bit repetitive.
