Basement - WIRED

Somehow this is exactly the album Basement needed to make and at the same time it lacks this special punch I love them for. There's 4-5 songs with a big replay factor for me (Embrace being my clear number one - I absolutely love this song). The other songs are enjoyable too but for some reason they sound kinda flat and like they're just missing this magic I love their older projects for.

Hayley Williams - Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party

With her third solo album, Hayley once again proves that she doesn’t need huge marketing campaigns or months of teasing on social media to make an impact. This record feels diverse, honest, and deeply personal all at once.

Even its release concept was a statement: instead of following a traditional album rollout, she released each track as a single first – later letting fans decide the order in which the songs would eventually appear on an album and even adding more songs after ... read more
