Madvillain - Madvillainy
95

We already know how good this one is. But why does nobody talk about Raid, it's probably the best one on here.

Doritos, Cheetos or Fritos: Everything but
Least fav: The instrumental tracks aren't bad in the slighest but no Doom. Except Do Not Fire, the SSF2 Turbo SFX is genius there.

Viktor Vaughn - Vaudeville Villain
90

The opposite of Operation: Doomsday. Angry production, but still fun wordplay from the villian himself.

THE TRAVELIN VAUDEVILLE VILLIAN: Title track, Lickupon, The Drop, Lactose and Lecthin, A Dead Mouse, Can I Watch, Saliva (my favorite), Modern Day Mugging, Never Dead, Mr. Clean, GMC, Change The Beat

AIN'T NOT FEELING HIM: Open Mic Night 1 and 2, Raedawn (the beat only)

Radiohead - Kid A
100

Everytime I listen to it, it gets better (it got better this used to be a 90)

This One's Optimistic: Everything in it's right place, Kid A, National Anthem, How to Disappear Completely, Optimistic, In Limbo, Idioteque, Morning Bell, Motion Picture Soundtrack

This One Just Came Out of The Swamp: Treefingers

David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
90

I don't know how to describe it, but it's really good.

Fav tracks: Five Years, Soul Love, Moonage Daydream, Starman, It Ain't Easy, Lady Stardust, Hang on to Yourself, Ziggy Stardust, Rock n' Roll Suicide

Least fav: Suffragette City

my bloody valentine - loveless
79

Repetitive as all hell, worse mixing than Cherry Bomb, So much distortion it puts a 2017 meme to shame, vocals that make me want to tear my ears off, and yet it's still pretty damn good.

Favs: Only Shallow, I Only Said, Soon
Least Favs: To Here Knows When, Come in Alone
Everything else doesn't stand out but is pretty good.

100

My fav albums section I'm all posting on Day 1 of AOTY, so this is the last album. Fantastic indie rock.

AND ALL TOGETHER IT WENT WELL: All songs
THEY AIN'T TOO SMART: No songs, I just didn't want to waste a good least fav track name

Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
99

This was my favorite album until about two weeks ago when I decided Daft Punk's RAM was better. But, this is an impeccable album, highly recommend.

Highlights: Dark Fantasy, Gorgeous, All of the Lights, So Appalled, Devil in a New Dress, Runaway, Hell of a Life, Lost in the World

Low Lights: POWER (overplayed), and the 4 minute skit at the end of Blame Game, both are fine still.

"@frogofprog Thanks for checking out my request! Glad you enjoyed it! As the other guy said, Mind Fuzz and Polygondwanaland are also great KGLW projects, Poly especially as that one is especially more of a prog album. Anyways I gotta get to listening to Genesis"

"Nonagon Infinity review when? (I was promised this 7 months ago) Also quasi-related to the album at hand, if I’m listening to a first Genesis album, are you thinking Selling England or Lamb Lies Down on Broadway?"

"Of course I'd recommend more but the character limit hit me, and I don't remember you liking rap very much. Plus, if you consider Tame Impala's first album too commercialized, I don't think there's any point in me recommending the even more commercialized next 2 albums, or even his very pop 4th album. But if you do want some rap albums: Kendrick Lamar's good kid m.a.a.d city and Kanye West's College Dropout are great rap albums that I really haven't met people that dislike. Also as a side-note I checked every recommend to see if you reviewed it and somehow missed Abbey Road!"
On frogofprog's review of King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
"I once HATED 2/5 songs on this album, now we're down to 1. That one has a cool 2 minute intro though. ITTW was the other I hated, but it's one where you just have to feel the vibe and let it take you away"

"@frogofprog Various recommends: Daft Punk - Random Access Memories, Discovery (Dance) The Strokes - Is This It (Garage Rock) King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Nonagon Infinity, Flying Microtonal Banana, I'm In Your Mind Fuzz, and Polygondwanaland (Hard Rock, Psych, and Prog) David Bowie - Blackstar (Art Rock) The Weeknd - Dawn FM (R&B) Fishmans - Long Season (Art Rock, Japanese) Nirvana - Nevermind, In Utero (Grunge) Bjork - Post (Art Pop) Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour, White Album, Abbey Road (Classic Rock) Thee Oh Seas - Mutilator Defeated At Last (Alt-Rock) Oasis - Morning Glory, Be Here Now (Britpop) Some of these are really popular that you've probably listened, but you haven't written a review! Come on, I need some thoughts!"

"@frogofprog Understandable, it’s more of a “this one is my favorite even though his later albums are more acclaimed yet even more commercial” type thing. Honestly I was just curious what your thoughts were on rock outside of prog in general, if you have anything you’d want to I’d love to see you review it"
