Joey's newest project falls back onto his boom bap, jazz rap roots, but unfortunately, he fails to make it sound fresh and interesting.
I feel as if a lot of the hunger and drive that went into his earlier albums, which really gave them the hook that reeled a lot of people into his catalogue, has disappeared. Now it feels as if the songs that Joey does drop have no lasting impact and come and go.
