Violator

This wasn’t what I expected from this project, since I though that it was going to be more like Joy Division or The Cure, kinda like New Wave/Post-Punk, but instead I got a weird mix of electronic synth-pop and “darkwave”, but in my opinion this album isn’t really anything special to me, its just some regular synth pop album that tries to implement new elements and experimentation, but that doesn’t quite get there. Personally I was quite disappointed and expected this to be a really great album, but it wasn’t anything too crazy. The singing sounds minimal and low effort, and the sound is trying hard to experiment but it don’t feel right you know. In conclusion, an ok project by Depeche Mode, which is a mix of electronic and synth pop, but that wasn’t really good, tbh.
