Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy
94

What a relaxing experience. Flower Boy is a 2017 R&B/Neo-Soul album by Tyler, The Creator. The album has this very chill and lo-fi sound in it, contrary to what you would expect from Tyler, while also being quite aggressive at times, showcasing the two personalities that Tyler uses in this record, like a sort of alt ego, with one being quiet and chill, and the other being anxious and angry at times. The rapping was pretty spot on, with some fire features and some great, smooth flow in the ... read more

The chillest Rap album ever. A Piece of Strange is a 2006 Chipmunk Soul/Conscious Hip-Hop album by rap group CunninLynguists. The album features some amazing and quite obscure samples from beginning to end, and also a sound that’s very based on soul songs, and really great, catchy beats, that really make this feel like a Kanye produced album. The rapping and writing is also in another level, with some great rhymes, some fire bars, and a great flow and smoothness all throughout the record. ... read more

Nick Drake - Bryter Layter

This was very chilling. Bryter Layter is a 1971 singer-songwriter & Chamber Pop album by British singer Nick Drake. The album features a very mellow and tranquil sound, that’s characteristic of Nick’s music. The coziness and vibe of this album is perfect for those rainy afternoons in Autumn, or just a day when you’re feeling a bit down. Interpol - Turn on the Bright Lights
92

Is this what it’s like to live in NYC? Turn on the bright lights is a 2002 indie rock/post punk record by British band Interpol. The album draws a lot of inspiration from 80’s records and converts it into a modern look into that post-punk style of bands like Joy Division or The Cure. The songs on this record have that dark, and mysterious sound, while still remaining as a indie project, with a lot of “fun tracks” and energetic moments, it’s sort of like a mix ... read more

Daft Punk - Random Access Memories

This was absolute peak. Random Access Memories is a 2013 Electronic/Disco album by french duo Daft Punk.
The album features a lot of that classic disco and dance element from Daft Punk, while also having a lot of experimental elements to it, and also a lot of features, unlike previous records by them, this making the album feel more human than their other releases. The instrumentals on this are also pretty damn good and it just proves how good and talented Daft Punk really is, with some of the ... read more

Megadeth - Rust in Peace
96

Metallica goes so hard. Rust In Peace is a 1990 Thrash Metal album by American Metal band Metallica (Megadeth).
The album features that classic 80’s and 90’s chaotic and distorted metal sound, but in a way that’s actually pleasant and fun to hear, because, unlike other metal projects at the time, this one wasn’t just trying to be loud, it wanted to sound good, and it achieved it. The album has some very great playing from Marty Friedman, and all the other guys as well ... read more

The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
97

Peak dad rock. Siamese Dream is a 1993 Alternative Rock/Grunge album by rock band Smashing Pumpkins. The album features a very heavy, guitar oriented sound, similar to most of the stuff coning out around this time, and the grunge revolution. It has a very great mix of guitars, drums and some good singing as well, being one of the most influential rock albums of it’s time, with sounds that are almost ethereal and surreal at times, and other times it sounds like divorced dad rock, but ... read more

Clipse - Let God Sort Em Out
92

Best album for the aux. Let God Sort Em Out is a Gangsta/Hardcore Hip-Hop by Rap duo Clipse, consisting of Malice and Pusha-T. The album came out this year and has a very legitimate shot at being the AOTY, mainly fue to its very high energy, and fun sound. The album features a lot of bars, and overall great rapping from Clipse, and from all the features, no one made a bad feature or impression in this album, it’s as if it was perfectly crafted. The lyrics were also pretty well made, ... read more

Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There

This was peak. Ants From Up There is a 2022 Art Rock/Chamber Pop album by the group Black Country, New Road and it consists of 10 tracks and a length of 58 minutes. The album features an ethereal like sound, similar to In Rainbows by Radiohead, or Titanic Rising by Weyes Blood, in rhe sense that it lowkey makes you ascend halfway through some songs. It also has a very experimental and unorthodox sound for a “Rock” album, featuring a heave usage of saxophones and violins, which ... read more

This made me feel latino. Vigilante by Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe is a Salsa/Fusion album that came out in 1983. The album is characterized by it’s salsa style, which makes it a really fun listen, that combined with the vocals of the two greatest salsa singers ever makes for a really great mix of salsa rhythms and bangers, blending experimental and classic elements of salsa into a very good and condensed record. In concussion, a solid and really fun listen.

Sade - Love Deluxe

This was a mesmerizing experience. Love Deluxe is an Downtempo/Neo-Soul made by singer-songwriter Sade. The album has a very luxurious and luscious sound to it, which is kinda indescribable unless you’ve heard Sade’s music before(which is peak btw). The singing and vocals by Sade are absolute perfection, her soft and melodic voice perfectly suits and compliments her style of music, and especially in this album, which was done perfectly. The instrumentals were also perfect in my ... read more

(100th review on this website)
AS MY 100th review(and a milestone), I knew I had to do something MASSIVE, and so I decided what other album has such an historical significance and impact, as well as positive reviews than Ok Computer by Radiohead.
This album as i already said, was made by Radiohead in the Year 1997. It it an alternative-rock/art-rock album, and it’s said to be considered one of, if not the greatest album of all time. Anyways, onto the actual music, this record is one ... read more

This album sounds so hopeful and full of life. Be is a 2005 hip-hop album by Chicago rapper Common. This album has a very happy and upbeat vibe and feel to it, with its beats, and instruments that express a feeling of joy and warmth in this album. Also Common’s rapping and lyrics in this one are also great, with his flows being smooth and simple, and his lyrics raising consciousness and talking about Christianity, something that’s forgotten nowadays(and back then). This album broke me emotionally, I don’t even know if I can review this.

Björk - Post
97

Björk is a genius, and this album proves it. Post is a 1995 art pop/trip-hop/electronic album made by Icelandic singer Björk. This album has a very unique and almost indescribable sound and feel, considering this combines mainstream pop, trip-hop, electronic music, art pop and a lot of other genres all in one project, just shows how good this is, and the talent that Björk has. While this might not be as emotionally driven as Vespertine, in my opinion, it’s just as good, due ... read more
