How did they take the essence of summer and put it in an album what!?!?!?
Such a fun, bright and friendly album. “Timely!!” brings you on a trip to the city, soothing you with its gorgeous singing and instrumentals that make it a joyride of a record. And succeeds in making one of the most welcoming albums I’ve heard.
And the instrumentals on here are fantastic. Combining the soulful and jazzy saxophones with these funky electric guitar riffs that makes this whole record ... read more
Anri's "Timely!!" is pure bliss
This record radiates joy, dreaminess and nostalgia, encapsulating everything that made the city pop wave of Japan great.

Lwk i agree with what the people are saying about this album because it really does sound like the most average pop album you’d hear from that era, that are also not getting enough praise as this one does too.
But that doesn’t mean this record is bad. I actually quite enjoyed it! I even think that the tracks “windy summer” and “lost love in the rain” clears any songs from yamashita’s “Ride on Time” (ns).
