while the story telling is some of if not the best I've ever heard I just can't with some of the production choices here, I'm new to hiphop, that might be it, but I find "poetic justice" or the opening "sherane" to be annoying, speacilly cause of the damn snare that's so fucking loud in the mix it distracts me from everything else. those songs bring this album from a 9.5 to an 8 for me, since I can't really ENJOY a full listen. I can vibe HARD to every song on this, they experiment with japanese instruments, spanish guitar and of course a lot of 80´s amazyng synths, the singing is the best of any the cure album and the lyrics are close behind. it's so full of catchy and memorable melodies and rythms and it keeps it enjoyable for the full 37 minutes

I feel mixed here, some of this song like careful or ignorant or brick by boring brick are amazing but on the other side the only exception, playing god or looking up come to short, and I'm not a big fan of the pop in my "pop punk" being so overpowering, but anyways it was experimentation that would help the band later on.
