What a haunting album this is. The way each note seems to linger moments after it’s been played, each song faint enough to sound like a memory of itself and yet so, so powerful. I have been a fervent lover of Kevin Atwater for a very long time, and when he announced that he was releasing this album, I couldn't contain my excitement. Now, listening to the album through again, it still tears me apart just as it did the first time. There are a couple songs like Family Party and Call of Duty that do not hit just as hard, but most of this album is devastatingly beautiful.
