Not as good as I thought I would feel about it when I listened to Aon a few days ago. Even Aon already became a little worse for me.
Let's just get an album please lads
Favourite song: Aon
Least favourite song: Tri
Short, fun time. First time I've liked Interludes on an album/EP in some time.
Favourite song: Dogma 25
Least favourite song: infinyte
I can't fully explain it, but this album cover goes so well with the songs on the album.
The abstract (& very often dark, more eerie) production on a lot of these tracks hit so well and does the wordplay of billy woods. His rhymes and flows feel as if they fit like a glove.
I can't say that there is a bad track on the album either, even if I think Doldrums falls below the rest.
Big shoutout also to all the features, don't feel like I've listened to a lot of albums ... read more
Lyricism, cadence and flows. Brother Ali has that.
Besides that, the production is absolutely stellar on some of these.
Some of the messages on a few of the songs on this project are also just great.
Only reason it doesn't rate a lot higher is the replay value on a good amount of songs (at least for me).
Favourite song: Cast Aside
Least favourite song: Satisfied Soul (not a big fan of the production on this one compared to the album)
I make music that electrify 'em, you make music that pacify 'em
Lots of stunning ideas conceptually (themes) but also for the production, only to still leave a little underwhelmed since ideas don't always fully translate.
Obviously a 75 is a good rating but I will say that a lot of that rating are the singles like for example choke enough, harvest sky or blade bird.
I do hope this is one of those albums that will grow on me after time, but for now it's just a cool concept rather than a great listen.
Favourite track: choke enough

didn't fall to my knees in the barnes and noble manga section this time, but it's still pretty decent.
I liked more of the production rather than the verses on this one.
overall satisfied with how many songs he gave us tho, just make sure not to follow him on Twitter!
favourite track: Come & Get Me
least favourite track: HATE
Now, don't get me wrong, I think that Abel tries (and also often succeeds) to get all his personal feelings out on this album. I just think he's done a way better job with that on the second half on the album, than on the first half. The attempts mostly fail to reach me until right about Take Me Back To LA (which is really late in the album). Having the album be 1 hour and 24 minutes long is the perfect example of why less is more sometimes.
I think we also don't have really ... read more
If I had one word to describe my first listen to Nine Vicious it would probably be: Potential.
I think I kinda hear his vision on most of these, but I'm absolutely not a fan of the execution.
Favourite song: N/A
Least favourite song: Slime Bidness
Apparently you can't rush greatness, but you still decided to drop this.
Besides some good production on some of these tracks, I can't get along with Central Cee's lyrics, flows (not sure why I've added an s there, because it's often the same one) or cadence.
Unfortunately the features didn't really help at all either.
Give me back Wild West Central Cee
Favourite song: N/A
Least favourite song: Truth In The Lies
She has gone and done it. Wow. Just wow.
Not even gonna bother writing a longer review for this despite the rating, excuse me, I got Room of Fools to listen to (in repeat).
Favourite song: Room of Fools
Least favourite song: Childlike Things (how?! 😲)
[Edit: Still great but not deserving off the initial rating perhaps. 95 -> 85 -> 90]
not as bad as people want to make it but it's deffo underwhelming for me. based off the singles I expected a lot more, Osamas verses didn't do some of the beats justice and sometimes there wasn't even a beat to justify (if you know what I mean)
then again a lot of albums in this genre usually grow on me so I'll revisit (maybe)
Favourite track: The Whole World Is Free
Last favourite track: Mufasa
could basically copy my initial take care review lol
not quite as good as the initial album imo (and 3 songs is a bit of a pisstake imo) but still good.
also big fan of the tommy newport feature, I liked him a lot on 21 Savage's album.
Favourite track: Life of a Boss
Least favourite track: Holy Ground
Whilst the production in Act 1 is already great, it wasn't really daring enough (or to my liking), even if I'm aware of what he tried to do considering the album's concept. Most of the songs didn't stick with me apart from singles.
Now Act 2 was way more to my liking. The Introduction to Act 2 was even more interesting than the first, the beats and verses were very good and so were the topics throughout (same goes for You Can Skip This Part, which is technically after Act ... read more
Well, early entry for AOTY has already arrived then, hasn't it.
The production is absolutely stellar thanks to Larry Fisherman (😉), the hooks are catchy and well-thought-out. The lyrics are so touching and sometimes very witty. Especially songs like Stoned or Manakins are just so beautiful.
R.I.P. Mac.
Favourite song: Stoned
Least favourite song: Tambourine Dream (obvious ig)
I mean, it's alright?
I like 99 a lot but other than that, he could've kept these in the vault. Also for a deluxe it's way too short
Favourite track: 99
Least favourite track: My Shawty
More... Baby I guess?
Nothing really insane or stunning on here, just some more Lil Baby to start the year (kinda disappointed this is the first album I listened to in 2025). I will give him (and the producers) some credit, some songs on here do hit hard. It just gets boring when he constantly fucks up a lot of the hooks, sometimes can't be asked to display the same type of energy on every track or the features fuck up (not Thugger and 21)
Favourite track: STIFF GANG (shitty ass song ... read more
not as good as Manger on McNichols or Bo Jackson but it's still good. A lot of these tracks have the right idea but not the right execution for me, it doesn't hit quite the same. That being said, I did like the backend of the album, feels a lot more structured lyrically
favourite track: Hot Water Tank
least favourite track: Bumps and Bruises
